New building 120-95 Campus Pirelli, Milano

New building 120-95 for Campus Pirelli.
Competition by Invitation.

The tread, tire’s performance synthesis expression, is the inspiration for an iconic building that expresses the brand identity of the company. Slits, grooves, blocks and slats, typical elements that characterize the tread, inspire geometries that draw the architecture of the building and surrounding areas. All this creates a dynamic and variable architecture, almost in motion.

The designed building, with training classrooms and refreshment space for the Pirelli Campus, is a space designed for the relationship where to meet and socialize, to know and train, to work or to relax. A point of reference for Pirelli Campus and a landmark for the city, combining the technological component with the human component.

Pirelli Living Hub features a trapezoidal plant and a variable section volume that optimizes the Eliotermic exposure and orienting it towards the campus park as well as defining an external connection area with the Pirelli Foundation; an inner square remains protected from the bustling viale Sarca and welcomes access to the two buildings, becoming a place where internal activities find the right extension to the outside.
