Refitting Sede Credit Agricole, Milano

The colors of the 20th century

Enhancing the identity characteristics of the building, an expression of Milanese eclectic architecture of the early twentieth century, and its existing valuable components, updating its image with a parallel functional and technological adaptation.

A complex refitting intervention carried out ‘with an open heart’ with the building in use, articulated in phases over two years of work for which a particular project was developed.

The colors for the various interior finishes were inspired by the twentieth-century art movement born in Milan in 1922, of which one of its founding fathers was the painter Mario Sironi; from Sironi’s ‘urban landscapes’ a palette of colors was selected to be used in the various rooms.

Spazi eleganti, sobri, e performanti – illuminazione, condizionamento e acustica – ma al tempo stesso caldi e accoglienti: ambienti funzionali, flessibili ed efficienti energeticamente.

A contemporary image in a historic body with a new heart.
