The masseria, a traditional building and an expression of local culture, is reinterpreted in a contemporary way and becomes the “Farmhouse of Knowledge,” a pedagogical space for educating new generations.

An iconic and identity-rich complex, it is deeply rooted in the history of the place while simultaneously embodying the technological essence of the knowledge taught within its walls.

The genesis of the project stems from a reinterpretation of the typical Apulian masseria: a compact architectural element whose form is defined by the aggregation of volumes differing in function and size. These volumes come together to create a protected structure that primarily develops around the central courtyard’s open space.
