The construction site for the FERRERO TECHNICAL CENTER has opened in Alba, close to the existing industrial site.
After winning the competition held in 2017, FDG led the design team in the development of the executive project of the new technological hub of Ferrero Group, where the production processes and new ideas will be conceived and tested. A highly technological and avant-garde construction, which on the one hand reflects the image of a company that looks forward, and at the same time it is perfectly integrated in the territory where the company’s history was born: the Langhe.
The project opposes the chaotic image of the factory, a composite, linear building, where technology is present, but it cannot be seen.
With 4,000 square meters of space intended for the Experimental Workshop, and around 4,500 square meters for Landscape Offices, served through a completely transparent quadruple-height Hall, the new complex will probably be inaugurated in 2021.
